Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

By creating an account or using DriverProfit you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

DriverProfit is a self-service software tool that performs arithmetic on figures you enter and presents estimates of profit, hourly rate and tax set-aside. It is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis with no warranty of uptime, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

We are not an accountancy practice, tax agent, financial adviser or regulated financial institution, and nothing in the app constitutes certified financial, accounting, tax or legal advice.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate registration details. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal to you and must not be shared, resold or transferred.

Accuracy of figures

All calculations depend entirely on what you record. Missing, duplicated or mistyped entries produce wrong results. Tax percentages, whether regional presets or a custom rate you set with the slider, are estimates that ignore allowances, thresholds, vehicle arrangements, other income and local law. Always verify with a qualified accountant before filing or making a payment.

Automated estimation disclaimer

Automated expense templates, recurring-cost suggestions and pre-filled transaction fields are generated strictly for layout convenience from your own historical inputs. They are not verified records, receipts or evidence of expenditure, and they carry no warranty of accuracy. Final numerical reconciliation for tax, accounting or commercial compliance purposes remains the sole liability of the user.

Data override clause

All pre-filled fields are completely editable before saving. You are expected to review and adjust every suggested figure so it matches what you actually earned or spent. Saving unadjusted template values is done entirely at the operator's own discretion and at their own risk, and any saved figure is treated as your own declared entry.

Billing

Trials, upgrading to a £20/month recurring subscription, cancellation and the strict no-refunds-for-partial-months rule are governed by the Subscription & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Financial calculations and reporting windows are locked to strict linear calendar parameters; users accept sole liability for ensuring entry start and end dates are chronologically accurate prior to final data submission.

Acceptable use

Your use of the platform is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. Breach may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

Intellectual property

The software, interface, calculation logic, content and branding are owned by DriverProfit and licensed to you for personal use for as long as your account is in good standing. Your own records remain yours.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account immediately for breach of these terms, suspected fraud, abusive behaviour towards staff, or non-payment. You may close your account at any time; the no-refund rules still apply.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the laws of England and Wales, DriverProfit, its owners, directors, operators, contractors and associated entities accept absolutely no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss of any kind arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this platform.

This exclusion expressly includes, without limitation: tax penalties, interest, surcharges, fines or assessments issued by HMRC, the IRS or any other tax authority anywhere in the world; loss of earnings, profit, business, goodwill, savings or opportunity; losses caused by system downtime, outages, delayed synchronisation, data discrepancies, corrupted or missing records, or software calculation variances; and losses caused by figures you entered incorrectly, incompletely or not at all.

DriverProfit is an algorithmic cash-flow estimation tool. It is not certified financial, accounting, tax or legal advice, and it does not replace a qualified accountant or tax adviser in your jurisdiction. Every percentage, preset and projection shown is an estimate only. You remain solely and exclusively responsible for your own filings, payments, records and their accuracy.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the total subscription fees you paid to DriverProfit in the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in force.
