Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This policy protects the service and every driver using it. It forms part of the Terms & Conditions.
You must not
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, de-obfuscate or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, calculation engine, tax logic or database schema of the platform.
Run bots, crawlers, spiders, headless browsers, scripted clients or any automated process against the app, its APIs or its database, including scraping, bulk extraction or mirroring of any content or data.
Attempt to access data belonging to another driver, bypass authentication or row-level security, escalate privileges, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the infrastructure without our prior written permission.
Perform load testing, denial-of-service, credential stuffing, brute-force or injection attacks, or otherwise degrade performance or availability for other users.
Introduce malware, or use the service to store or transmit unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory or infringing content.
Resell, sublicense, white-label or provide the service to third parties, or use it to build a competing product.
Submit deliberately false records to manipulate the service, or use the app to facilitate tax evasion or any other unlawful act.
Fair use
Accounts are for a single driver's own records. We may apply rate limits and reasonable usage thresholds to protect the platform, and may throttle or block traffic that behaves automatically.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches, and may suspend or permanently terminate access immediately and without refund. Serious breaches, including attacks on our infrastructure, will be reported to law enforcement and may be pursued for damages under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and other applicable law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the laws of England and Wales, DriverProfit, its owners, directors, operators, contractors and associated entities accept absolutely no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss of any kind arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this platform.
This exclusion expressly includes, without limitation: tax penalties, interest, surcharges, fines or assessments issued by HMRC, the IRS or any other tax authority anywhere in the world; loss of earnings, profit, business, goodwill, savings or opportunity; losses caused by system downtime, outages, delayed synchronisation, data discrepancies, corrupted or missing records, or software calculation variances; and losses caused by figures you entered incorrectly, incompletely or not at all.
DriverProfit is an algorithmic cash-flow estimation tool. It is not certified financial, accounting, tax or legal advice, and it does not replace a qualified accountant or tax adviser in your jurisdiction. Every percentage, preset and projection shown is an estimate only. You remain solely and exclusively responsible for your own filings, payments, records and their accuracy.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the total subscription fees you paid to DriverProfit in the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
