DriverProfit

How DriverProfit works

Record your Earnings and Costs, and DriverProfit shows your Real profit after the costs you recorded, your Real hourly rate, and an Estimated tax to set aside.

Recording costs as they happen gives a far more accurate picture than guessing from memory, because small, frequent costs like fuel, charges and car washes are easy to forget.

How to use it — 5 steps

1

Create your account

Tap Get started, register with your email and a password, and confirm your email if asked. The first time you sign in you'll see a one-time “Before you start” notice — read it and tap “I Understand”. Then tap “Start with your first day”.

2

Add your earnings

Tap Earnings and add the date, platform (Uber, Bolt, Taxi or Other), the hours you worked and the gross amount you were paid. Add tips and bonuses if you got any, then choose which days the entry covers (see “Entry periods” below).

3

Add your costs

Tap Expenses and choose a category: Fuel, Rental, Insurance, Maintenance, Phone or Other. Costs such as charging, car finance or depreciation currently go under Other. Choose the days the cost covers and enter the amount; notes are optional.

4

Check your real profit

Back on the Dashboard you'll see Earnings, Costs, Real profit (after the costs you recorded), Real hourly rate and Estimated tax to set aside. Real profit is before tax — the tax figure is shown separately.

5

Set your region or custom tax rate

In the “Estimated tax to set aside” card, pick a region preset or use the slider (0%–50%) to set your custom tax rate. It saves to your account and is used on the Dashboard and in Reports.

Entry periods

When adding earnings or costs, choose which days the entry covers:

  • One day — a single date.
  • A week — a Sunday–Saturday week.
  • A month — from your start date, for that calendar month's number of days.
  • Pick dates — any From and To dates you choose.

Past dates are allowed. The To date can't be earlier than the From date. Multi-day earnings and costs are spread evenly across the covered days. For a multi-day earnings entry, the total hours are spread across the same days too.

Viewing your results

Dashboard

Shows today, this week and this month, plus Estimated tax to set aside. When available, Last Full Week compares your most recent completed Monday–Sunday week with the one before. Tap “Choose other dates” to see results for any dates — this changes only that section, not the whole Dashboard.

Reports

First choose which dates to include, then group them Daily, Weekly or Monthly. Weekly rows use Monday–Sunday weeks. Each row includes the tax set-aside at your chosen rate.

Earnings and Expenses history

The date filter on these pages changes the History list only, not the entry form.

Tap any figure to see what is behind it

On Home and Reports, tap a number to see every earning and cost that went into it — the quickest way to spot an entry you typed wrong.

Estimated tax to set aside

The app multiplies your Real profit by your region preset or custom tax rate. A single percentage can't capture a country's full tax rules, so treat it as a budgeting estimate.

UK (£)

25% — the app's UK budgeting preset. An estimate, not your exact tax.

US ($)

Roughly 26% — a broad budgeting estimate.

EU high (€)

35% — a broad estimate for higher-tax European countries.

EU low (€)

15% — a broad estimate for lower-tax European countries.

Anywhere else

The presets are broad estimates and can't reflect every country's rules. Set a custom tax rate based on your own circumstances or your accountant's advice.

Changing your region or currency changes the currency shown, but existing amounts are not converted.

Every figure is an estimate, not financial or tax advice. Always confirm with a qualified accountant in your country.
